Es ist ein Update veröffentlich worden.

25.1-70.1.41

We are pleased to announce the release of new 25.1 software for Lowrance multifunction displays and sonar modules. 25.1 for Lowrance MFDs and sonar modules includes a suite of new features and functionality as well as various performance enhancements and bug fixes.

The 25.1 software update includes:

    Lowrance RECON Trolling Motor Support
    Active Target Performance Improvements
    S3100H Heave compensation
    Updates to Legacy Sonar Networking
    Bob’s Machine Shop Jackplate Monitoring
    Bug Fixes and Improvements

25.1 version is available for all screen sizes of Lowrance displays including HDS PRO, HDS LIVE, Elite FS, and HDS Carbon.

25.1 software is also available for the SonarHub, S5100, S3100, S3100H, StructureScan 3D, and Active Target modules. These modules must be updated to the same version of software as the connected display in order to maintain functionality. The included changes to Active Target require updating both the module and Lowrance display for the full performance enhancement.

RECON Trolling Motor Support

Support for the newly announced Recon trolling motors is now enabled on all HDS PRO, HDS Live, HDS Carbon, and Elite FS displays.

Connecting a Lowrance RECON trolling motor to a Lowrance display via NMEA2000 will enable control and monitoring of the RECON trolling motor.

This includes

Monitoring motor status such as stowed/deployed, navigation modes, propeller action, etc.
On screen indicators of steering direction
Programming the Recon foot pedal and remote configurable buttons
Manual steering as well as autopilot controls

On screen command bar and controllers

25.1 enabled displays will show the expandable left side command bar and the RECON status bar at the top of the display when connected to a RECON trolling motor. The status bar is dynamic and shows the current state of your RECON trolling motor. This includes whether the motor is stowed or deployed, the current navigation mode, propeller status, and thrust speed/percentage.

Additionally, a new dynamic overlay data icon has been added. This dynamic overlay can display the current steering position of the lower unit on screen. When Anchor mode is enabled, the steering position indicator switches to an anchor icon.

Programmable key functions:

25.1 enabled displays will be able to set the configurable keys on the RECON foot pedal, RECON FreeSteer Remote, and foot pedal stomp pad. In addition, there are new functionalities included that these programmable keys can control.

Depth Routing:
Depth Routing is a new feature for Lowrance trolling motors. Depth Routing utilizes our CMAP charts to create dynamic routes on the fly to always keep the boat in a desired depth. By setting the upper and lower depth limit, the Lowrance display will find areas on the chart within these boundaries and continuously draw a route that the boat can follow. The trolling motor can navigate this route for you as you fish.

ActiveTarget Performance Improvements

Active Target has received a performance improvement via new signal processing methods and updated color palettes that better reveal the relative strength of sonar returns. This better helps visibility of fish and lure targets which are associated with structure such as brush piles or weed lines.

Updating your Active Target module and your Lowrance display is required in order to see the full affect of these updates.

Change to Active Target Aspect Ratio

Active Target images now fill the user allotted space in all modes when either in a split screen or when sidebar menus are expanded. Previously, Active Target images retained their native aspect ratio to hold their shape and resolution when in split screens. This resulted in dark areas at points around the image.

In HDS PRO and Elite FS 7/9 displays, this has been removed and Active Target will now completely fill the window that it has been assigned. HDS Live and HDS Carbon will continue to hold the aspect ratio locked as per the current methods. Active Target split screens are not available on Elite FS 10/12.

Heave compensation with the new S3100H Sonar Module
Support for the new S3100H sonar module has been enabled. S3100H is a variant of the existing S3100 sonar module. S3100H includes sensors that can enable removing boat movement due to swells from the sonar image. When enabled, the sonar image can be smoothed out, thus yielding a truer sonar image of the sea floor, structure, and fish targets.

Open the Sonar panel Menu bar > select Advanced > choose Heave Comp.

Legacy Sonar Networking

Legacy Sonar Networking compatibility to older devices has been changed via this software update. The older style “Single Source” sonar networking mode has been removed. Beginning with 25.1, only the current “Multiple Source” networking mode will be supported.

HDS Gen1, Gen2, and Gen2 Touch series displays will no longer be able to read sonar data from devices on the network with 25.1 software installed.

NOTE: Networks that include these legacy displays alongside a current generation Lowrance display should continue to utilize the 23.3 software version. This will enable the current generation display to talk on the network in the older “Legacy Single Source” mode with the older display

The selection box for choosing your sonar networking mode has been removed from the Sonar Settings page.

Bob’s Machine Shop JackPlate Monitoring

Bob’s Machine Shop jackplates which have their N2k monitoring device installed may now be monitored directly from a Lowrance display. The jack plate level is available as a configurable gauge in the instruments app or as an overlay data on top of any other Lowrance display function.

Other bug fixes and improvements

Elite FS max SideScan range increased
    SideScan interference improvements
Sonar improvements when using Airmar Medium Chirp transducers
Added support for Airmar Medium Ultra-wide transducers
Fixed an issue where SideScan would not work correctly when using custom frequencies on 2D Sonar
    Sirius XM improvements
