Why do blocks of imagery randomly disappear then reappear when navigating the zoom levels in all of my at5 maps? I posted this question here several years ago and was told it was because my map had too much clutter, i.e., too many contours. With that suggestion, I immediately ceased the cavalier overuse of vector data that was likely causing the pervasive, dysfunctional rendering of raster imagery in my at5 maps. I've spent the last five years trying to identify my user error, testing thousands of different configurations without introducing any disruptive vector data map projects. I feel that I'm an embarrassment to the custom mapping community, as I have made no progress in isolating where my faulty user input occurs in the IMC configuration process. I cannot express how frustrating it is to see maps that I have worked so hard to create randomly and repeatedly disassemble and then reassemble before my eyes. So here I am, having exhausted all my mental resources in trying to remedy my defective map-making processes.
Before I shed all of my technological possessions and strike out on a soul-searching walkabout, I must pose one last question to the forum. I realize this would be highly improbable and I feel silly even asking, but could it be even remotely possible that the user is not to blame here? Could there be a minuscule chance that the IMC tool may have an undetected error deep within the code base that manifests as a defect when rendering imagery at a specific zoom level? I know it sounds bizarre, but could a one-in-a-million scenario exist where certain IMC settings are selected in a specified order, resulting in a highly visible and reproducible defect? A fringe scenario not considered by test case designers or conceptualized ad hoc testers; allowing a buried bug to remain undetected by Software Quality Assurance?

Since you're having this problem and I haven't, it might be yours after all. Why don't you share it with me (address via private message, transfer via WeTransfer) so I can track your work?
