Hiding Depth Areas

I have created maps for 2 different lakes, with the same settings (from what I can tell).  Through my HDS touch 12 on one of the maps I am able to use the Chart Options->View->Categories-> (LINE) Nautical to show/hide contours and use (Area) Depth Arean to show/hide isobaths.

On the second map it only allows me to show/hide contours, isobaths are always shown.

I have a raster background image that I would like to toggle visibility of isobaths and only view image and contours.

Shape files were exported from Reefmaster and updated with QGis

Attached is a screen shot of the shape file that does not seem to work.
