IMC Issues with OSM Features

Can anyone help troubleshoot why an at5 file with osm water/breakwater/pier features does not display correctly on IP and HDS unit.  The pier features do not show up in the water features.  Files attached.

My proposal: load the osm shape files and create your own IMC artwork. (or Greg has a better idea)
Use the "selection by expression" option in your GIS application for faster editing (sample picture).

I guess you will have to wait for the next version of IMC or apply a workaround like fjordfischer proposed.

I remembered it just being groynes.  Apparently, I had to classify piers, as well.

Thank you.  For the time being, I'll tag all man_made/pier as man_made/breakwater.

It would be nice if IMC concentrated primarily (only?) on marine based OSM features.  These days, land based features are best viewed via mobile phones.  Just a thought.

Chart plotters are used in many applications outside of marine like off road devices.  OSM is frequently used in datasets to provide a background chart for points of reference.

The eventual goal is to be able to incorporate all relevant information from OSM data...not to focus on one type of information over another.

I have not been able to get man_made/lighthouse and man_made/beacon to show up as anything other than black dots.  But, boat ramps show up perfectly as leisure/slipway.
