Unter dieser Webadresse findet Ihr neue Updates für Lowerance-Geräte: https://www.lowrance.com/downloads/

Beschreibung Software Update (25.2) im Original (englisch):

Release Date: 15 July 2025
Version: 25.2-71.1.22

This software update for Lowrance MFDs and sonar modules includes a suite of new features and functionality as well as various performance enhancements and bug fixes. The software is available for download from Lowrance.com website or by over-the-air update when the display is connected to the internet.

The 25.2 software version includes:

    New Lowrance Trolling Motor features
    ActiveTarget®/ ActiveTarget®2 improvements
    3rd Party Feature integrations:
Control of Yak-Power digital switching systems
Improvements and enhancements to Power-Pole®integration, including support for Power-Pole OnePump (*Requires Power-Pole Software Update, from Power-Pole, available Aug ’25)

25.2 is available for all screen sizes of Lowrance Displays including HDS PRO®, HDS LIVE®, Elite FS®, and HDS Carbon® and Sonar Modules including Sonarhub, S5100, S3100, S3100H, StructureScan3D, ActiveTarget® and ActiveTarget®2.

Lowrance Trolling motor new features

The 25.2 software includes several new controls of Lowrance®/Simrad®branded trolling motors*:

    Anchor at a Distance
    Anchor Orbit
    Depth Routing

*These features are specific to Lowrance Ghost®, Ghost®X and Recon®trolling motors as well as Simrad Recon trolling motors

Please? I would really like to be added. Thank you!

Have you enabled the "auto create xml" feature in the IMC?

If so, you'll only be able to proceed if you can view your shape file attribute table. E.g. L_LIMIT = 1 can be a problem, better is "0"

Thank you for the reply, I did have Auto XML on and set all attributes correctly. I did figure out my issue and fixed it.

The NOAA data for "Fairway" which is a line, auto creates as an area instead so I had to convert to a line when creating the shapefile. Then set the layer order for the line and that fixed everything.

This is what it looks like when I take Shaded Relief off. As you can see, you can see the yellow nav line.

So I have been working on a Google map of my area. Map shows up fine on Lowrance at all resolutions. I have decided to add shapefiles for navigation lined, buoys and obstructions that I have taken from NOAA and converted into single shapefiles in QGIS.

I have created all of those with correct ( I think ) attributes but when I add them to the AT5 files on my SD card, the navigation line shows up below the google raster map. The point icons for buoys, obstructions, etc. show up fine above the map image. I have messed with multiple advanced setting and attributes and cant seem to figure this one out. Any help would be appreciated.

When I turn off shaded relief on the Lowrance unit, I can see the line and buoys. Once I turn on shaded relief I can only see the buoys. The line is specified as an Area and not a line.

My line attributes are:
L_LIMIT  -  Value  - 1
U_LIMIT  - Value - 15
Layer       -  Value - 1
Color      - Value  -14
MAJ_CAT  -  Value  - Nav Line

In advanced options in Vector Mode, I have Group Geometry checked although I have tried it with it unchecked as well.

Any help would be greatly  appreciated.

IMC Support / Issues with Large Maps
« Letzter Beitrag von AnglerU am 27 Juni 2025, 21:19:53 »
Hello, Hopefully I can keep this short and someone can help.

I am creating a very large map of the coast where I live. I am using the Google Hybrid Map from SAS Planet and have downloaded the KML's from zoom 7-18 in separate zoom folders. I then created the jgw files in each folder. So far, so good.

Now, when creating the At5 files I have done so individually at each zoom level with corresponding resolution. zoom 18-1, 17-2, 16-4......8-1024, 7-2048. The issue is size. at zoom 18 with resolution of 1, those AT5 files are over 100G just for zoom 18. Now I dont need everything  to have that zoom capability or that high of a resolution so I have done the entire map from zoom 7 to 16 at resolutions 2048 to 4. I end up with file size being around 8G up to zoom 16. Now I do want areas of the map to be able to zoom into 17 and 18. I created small sections of zoom 18 at resolution 1 and then created slightly larger areas for zoom 17 at resolution 2.  Zoom 16 covers the entire map.

Now when I do this with a small section of the map, zooming in and out looks just fine even in areas that dont have the zoom 17 and 18.  when I do much larger sections, all the areas that dont have zoom 17 or 18, just turn black.

I thought about just removing zoom 17 and 18 and creating zoom 16 with resolution from 1 through 4, but even that is too large.

Is there something else I can do to make this work? Anything I should change? How do I make really large maps without the zoom on my lowrance turning black at a high zoom levels or without being too large of file size?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry!
